BAJA: LA Cetto Winery to Host Annual Fiesta De La Vendimia
Five Star Tours is providing round trip transportation to Baja wine country and Mexico's largest wine maker.
LA Cetto Winery, Mexico's largest wine maker is hosting the annual Fiesta de La Vendimia at its Valle De Guadalupe vineyard, starting at noon on August 14, 2010. The Fiesta is an annual event celebrating the harvest of the grapes and the start of the wine making process.
Founded by an Italian, Angelo Cetto, history says that Cetto started the wine business in 1930, bought a number of small wineries in the 1980, and now he is responsible for more than half of Mexico's wine production. Cetto cultivates 2,500 acres of vineyards in Baja California; also tequila and olive oil. The winery has a nice outdoor tasting area to enjoy the wine.
Five Star Tours is providing round trip transportation to and from LA Cetto, for the Fiesta de la Vendemia. Departure points are at 10:00 AM Palomar Trolley Station in Chula Vista and 11:00 AM Caliente Hipodromo in Tijuana. Fiesta attendees return after the fiesta concert at 10:00 PM and will be back in Tijuana and San Diego at 12:00 AM and 1:00 AM, respectively, on Sunday, August 15.
